Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about your care and our practice.

Do you accept insurance? ANEW Precision Medicine is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance for consultations.

Can I submit my visit to insurance for reimbursement? ANEW Precision Medicine is a private-pay practice and does not participate with commercial insurance or Medicare. We are happy to provide a superbill with appropriate billing codes that you can submit to your insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement; however, reimbursement is determined by your individual plan and cannot be guaranteed. Medicare does not reimburse for physician visits at ANEW, and consultation fees cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.

Can laboratory testing be billed to insurance? Routine laboratory testing and certain specialty tests may be eligible for insurance or Medicare coverage and can often be billed directly by the performing laboratory. Coverage varies by plan and test, and some specialty or functional testing may not be covered.

What forms of payments do you accept? We accept major credit and debit cards. HSA/FSA cards may also be used for eligible medical expenses.

Do you accept Medicare? Dr. Graff has opted out of Medicare and does not bill Medicare for physician consultations. Eligible outside services, such as labs or imaging, may still be covered by Medicare.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy? We kindly request at least 48 business hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling, as your appointment time is reserved specifically for you and allows us to offer that time to another patient when adequate notice is provided. Standard appointments: Cancellations with less than 48 business hours’ notice and no-shows are subject to a $150 fee. New patient appointments: Cancellations with less than 48 business hours’ notice and no-shows are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled consultation fee. 48+ business hours’ notice: No cancellation fee.

What happens if I arrive late? Late arrivals may shorten your appointment. Visits will end at the originally scheduled time, and the full consultation fee applies.

What is included in my consultation fee? Your fee covers your scheduled physician consultation and personalized care plan. Labs, imaging, medications, supplements, and procedures are separate unless otherwise stated.

Are telehealth appointments available? Yes. Telehealth appointments are available when clinically appropriate. Some conditions may require an in-person visit.

Do you offer house calls? Yes. House calls are available by appointment within our service area. The house-call fee is the standard consultation fee + $250. Additional travel fees may apply based on location. Please visit our House Calls page for additional details.
